It has been a long time since the bad news of the closing of the temples has been heard. The President of the Republic Paul Kagame stated that the temples are not a problem but that this is seen among Africans. He said that if the closed temples have met the demands, those in charge should go back and see that their demands have been implemented.
It is a topic that was repeated by
President Kagame, in an interview with the media on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
Where the temples were closed people were told why but some were still closed. The head of state said that some will not understand these reasons, but many will.
He continued: "You say that there are
those who have met that is good, when the rest of them are closed, they should
go back and see if they have really met the people's demands and what is the
problem?
I don't think it's a heavy problem that has no solution, but people are doing what they should do."
