It is information released on May 1, 2024 by the Russian Parliament, the House of Deputies of which Chilingarov was a member.

Chilingarov was one of the most experienced scientists in the world, because he was one of the people who planned sea voyages where the ice is like mountains in the water, he was going to try to discover new places.

It's a difficult journey, even if you think about taking a ship to an unknown place, without thinking that you can be rescued, like Christopher Columbus who traveled and discovered the American continent between 1451 and 1506.

Chilingarov, who was born in Leningrad (now in the city of St. Petersburg), was dedicated to the study of the sea and the poles.

He led major research projects such as the construction of laboratories in the Northern Hemisphere in the middle of the seas that are built on the same ice that is very large, and he did the same in the Southern Hemisphere and the Northern Hemisphere known as the arctic and antarctic.

He was also involved in the construction of the Russian laboratory known as Bellingshausen from the uninhabited Antarctic continent, all of which will help to understand how the local organisms live, how there was water that did not cover it and so on.

He received various awards, including the Order of Lenin, Hero of the USSR, Hero of Russia, etc.

The President of the Russian Parliament Chamber of Deputies, Vyacheslav Volodin, said that Chilingarov played an important role in understanding many things in this world.

He said that they were pieces he had discovered in various times, to help people who were drowning in the sea, "things he did for years and years without regret."

The spokesman of the Russian President's office, Dmitry Peskov, also said that President Vladimir Putin also took note of the efforts of this man who was born and sent a special message to Chilingarov's close relatives.
