Reli, 22 years old, was sentenced to six months in prison for wearing a
Tanzanian army uniform when he was going to meet a young woman he was dating.

newspapers written in Tanzania, wrote that this young man was arrested on
December 5, 2024 and will be brought to justice on January 7, 2025.
After
being tried and found guilty of illegally wearing the uniform of the Tanzanian
army, the court immediately sentenced him to six months in prison. During
the hearing, this young man admitted to the charges against him by the
prosecution and in explaining himself, he said that he was wearing the military
uniform when he was going to meet the girl he was dating so as not to betray
him.
This
young man had asked the Court to cut off his cane even though it was the first
time he had committed a crime, but Rajabu's request was rejected by the Court.
