Rwanda: President Kagame has prepared those who intend to disrupt security to get a lesson

  • The President of the Republic Paul Kagame reminded those who intend to disrupt the security of Rwanda and Rwandans that they will not succeed because there is the ability to prevent them.

The Head of State announced this on December 30, 2024, when he delivered a speech to the participants of the conference organized as part of the closing of the year 2024.

President Kagame said that Rwandans should be proud of the good things they have achieved this year, which is only a few hours away. He said, "Let's keep enjoying our good things, the good things we do, what we put our will, strength and wisdom into and certainly whenever we find it, let's be happy."

“Isn't life supposed to go on? If you are proud of what you have achieved, you plan, you will not leave all your efforts here and there.”The Head of the Nation said that being happy should also include thinking about the fact that there are those who do not want that happiness.

He said, “Even when you are very happy there is something in your heart that keeps reminding you that outside, everything is causing death. You are grateful that there are those who wish you good, and we know them too.

President Kagame said that those who want to harm Rwanda or those who want to disturb its security will not succeed.

He said, “So if we are happy and stay safe for each person and for all of us, we will not allow anyone to disturb our security, not even a single day. It won't like it.” He continued, “Even if we have more will than ability, the will that we don't go looking for it, we have it, it's enough. What we are looking for is resources, every year, every time as we go, there are more and more jobs.

The Head of State reminded that currently those who feel that they are threatening the security of Rwanda and Rwandans are also increasingly realizing that their time is running out.
