A man with British and South African citizenship, made a vow to cross the
African continent on foot where he has been running, spending less than a year,
and then he cut 17 days to the holder of this vow.
The man named Keith Boyd, 57 years old, spent 301 days removing the vow that was made by another person who did it when he was 25 years old.
This journey he made on his own, he started from Cape Town in South Africa,
and ended in Cairo, Egypt in the North African country, which made him recorded
in the Guinness Book of World Records.
This trip was sent to Keith Boyd to travel around the world, covering
10,793 miles, where he started from South Africa, passed through Botswana,
entered Zimbabwe, continued through Zambia, and crossed Tanzania and Kenya,
continuing through Ethiopia, where he left and entered in Sudan, he will come
to Egypt.
Before he started this journey, he had planned to start from Cairo, Egypt
and stop in Cape Town, South Africa, but he will do the opposite of what he had
planned because of the war that was going on in Sudan, where he thought he
could reach this country. , this war ended.
It was at a time when he came to Ethiopia that he encountered serious problems, which made his journey called "hell on Earth" or "Hell on Earth." Where he was going to be kidnapped.

If he had not encountered these problems, it is possible that he would have
spent less time than he spent on this trip, so that some weeks would have been
lost.
It was an event he did with the aim of raising money to support his
non-profit organization 'Rainbow Leaders', which aims to fight poverty in
Africa, where he aimed to motivate young people to participate in the
Government programs of their countries, such as elections.
He said, “I traveled on foot from Cape Town to Cairo under severe stress
that affected my physical and mental health. And I was hoping that I would have
to end it by making a promise to the world at my age, this will be an example
for people in a different way."
He said that during this trip, he aimed to encourage the youth of Africa to
participate in the activities of the governments of their countries in
compliance with the principle of democracy.
He said, "This is the only way that can improve the economy quickly,
and also create the necessary jobs and reduce poverty."
Keith Boyd, who has worked for various telecommunications companies in Africa for 30 years, spent four months training to break this goal, where he walked at least 200 miles a week in order to keep his feet, legs and back in good shape. Parts of the body that help a person walk.
