The news and e-book website www.andika.rw is letting us know that in England, the story of a female jailer who was filmed having sex with a guard in her cell led to an immediate investigation.
In these videos, the prisoner, who was
dressed in work clothes, was celebrating with the prisoner while listening to
the sound of the radio in the prison cell. These videos, which were circulated,
were taken by another prisoner who was in illegal possession of the phone.
"This is how we live in
Wandsworth," the prisoner said in the video.
Police and prison officials are
investigating the two-minute-long video, which was filmed at Britain's
second-largest prison in south London.
This is not the first time that HMP
Wandsworth prison has been in trouble, as last summer a prisoner named Daniel
Khalife escaped by hiding in a food delivery truck, looking for cash.
Because of what was seen in this video,
many would joke on the X website that this is not a prison because these
prisoners are given three meals a day, they watch TV as much as they want and
they even sing and molest the guards.
The strange thing is that in these videos,
this prisoner is having sex with another prisoner who is watching and smoking
and is the one who took the video. Since 2013, more than 80 prison guards have
been fired or punished for having relations with inmates.
Statistics from the Ministry of Justice
show that until last year, 59 female workers and 24 male workers were arrested.
HMP Berwyn in North Wales has had a
notorious history as 18 female staff members have had relationships with
inmates since the prison opened in 2017.
There are reports that this woman was seen
having sex with a prisoner with a husband outside and two children.
